My bacon cheesburger from Binta Burger food cart in Hua Hin. DEELISH

Who would have thought one of the best burger I’d ever have would be in Hua Hin Thailand. Their slogan is “We convert vegetarians” and I believe them.

Binta Burger is not a bricks and mortar establishment. It’s a food cart that unfortunately only comes out at around 8:30pm. I say unfortunately because I often get a hankering for a burger at lunch time or early evening. But when it does finally come out you can bet there is usually a line up.

It’s nothing fancy either, no camembert cheese, no focaccia bun, or avocado topping. Just a classic, simple but delicious burger with fresh ingredients.

It’s a handmade 100% beef patty, on a fresh sesame seed bun, and topped with the following optional ingredients: American cheese slice, crisp lettuce, juicy tomato, caramelised onions, bacon and egg, ketchup, mayo and mustard.  No frills, just simple burger goodness cooked on a skillet in front of you.

It’s located in the bar area of Hua Hin just outside of Click bar, which is a perfect location considering those burgers make the perfect post drinking snack at around 2am once the bars start closing down.

I know it’s pitiful, here I am in Thailand and I’m bigging up a burger cart rather than Thai food. But hey, when something’s good, it’s good and deserves a shout out.

  1. Thanks for your post. I have seen the Bintaburger cart often (and wondered why they say “UNDER a million sold”, yes, I believe that!) but never ordered something. I feel a bit stupid now. I certainly will try one of their burgers next time!
